Legend:
+ New feature
o Change
- Fix
4.1.1040 - September 6, 2011
+ Reprint a specific ticket
(instead of all tickets) for an order where tickets have already been printed.
See "Print Specific" button in Order Details.
+ Added Historical database to
DataScan.
o Removed X-Charge functionality. This is because no one was using
it, and altering the program for periodic credit card compliance changes was a
lot of trouble for an unused feature.
o Updated Help System to remove
references to inactive features.
- The "List Sections" button (Order Details
window) would keep adding the same section names to the list if clicked
repeatedly.
- When archiving data to the historic database (not deleting it),
there is an erroneous message saying that the deletion failed.
- Fixed data
access errors that were occurring because of a recent change Microsoft made to
certain legacy database components within Windows XP, Vista and 7.
- Phone#
no longer appears on Dymo labels.
- Corrected format of newly selected Dymo
label file name when using newer version of label templates (harmless).
4.1.1034 - Jan 26, 2011
+ Added 3.25" wide ticket layout.
o The Event Setup window now loads faster. Clicking on the Event Listing tab
will still be slow, especially if you have quite a few Events. This is normal. A
"busy" mouse pointer now appears when clicking that tab.
o IMPORTANT:
Barcodes have changed in order to be more readable. The barcode scanner will not
work on tickets printed with the previous version.
4.1.1033 - Dec 14, 2010
+ Added completely new Nudge
function for ticket printing re-alignment. It has a greater 4-way range, instead
of the 2-way range of the previous version. The new Nudge functionality is
software based, so, unlike the previous Nudge, it does not alter the printer's
internal settings.
+ Added Centering Box layout to the Ticket Setup window,
to better assist when using Nudge to get proper alignment.
+ Now supports
Boca’s Bluetooth and Wi-Fi printers. Ethernet will likely work as well, but
hasn't been tested.
+ Added option (Global Options) to include service fees
and other fees with refunds.
+ Added option (Global Options) to display
selected Events in the Windows 'Long Date' format.
o The previous version of
Nudge is still accessible, should it be desired to change or reset the printer's
internal positioning settings.
o Replaced automatic downloading of new
updates, with opening update site instead.
o Added "Orders" tab to Global
Options.
o Service fees not being refunded on cancelled orders. This was
deliberate. Added global option to always refund or not.
- Harmless error
when creating Events that contained an apostrophe.
- Pricing text for ticket
Style 2 had gotten larger than normal.
- Random issue with non-functional
scrollbars in reports.
- Print Tickets button was enabled in the Seat
Selection window during a new order.
- Customer History report usually not
showing customer name.
- Sales by Series report showing incorrect summary
total for entire Series.
- If editing an Event in order to remove the time
(to change an Event with a time to an Event without a time), the Event would
still show a time.
- The program assumes that an event with no date is in the
past, if “Hide past Events” is checked.
- Per-ticket fee shows up in reports
(but not total sales) for individual events that are part of subscriptions, when
"Use sub. factor per each subscription (regardless of ticket qty)" is selected.
4.1.1031 - July 27, 2010
4.1.1030 - June 24, 2010
4.1.1029 - June 19, 2010 + Added more video tutorials to the website, which are
accessed via the Help menu or the Tutorial buttons on each window (some windows
may provide a tutorial option through the Help button).
+
Added export function to Data Scan. Displayed data can be exported to CSV file,
which can be opened in Microsoft Excel.
- When both Comps and paid tickets
were sold on the same order, the service fee was added to each Comp ticket as
well. Service Fees should not be applicable to Comps.
- When converting a
hold to an order, when both the Base Service Fee and the Service Fee Adjustment
was used, only the Base Service Fee was being used.
+ Added Personal Option to
position Report Creator window to lower right corner of screen, so that reports
won't cover it completely (unless using a small monitor).
+ Added "Select Expert" tool for further filtering reports (see Help for
details).
o "Reports" window renamed to "Report Creator".
o Content within the Help System regarding reports has been modified and
expanded upon.
- Selecting "No" on a "Duplicate Pricing Scheme" order, failed to stop the order
process and created database warning errors.
- Some users may not see Events from subscription-type Pricing Schemes displayed
in certain reports.
- Receipt printing produced error.
+ Added Monthly Sales by Series PTF
report - which also has the option to show all Series or just a specific Series.
+ Added new "Didn't Buy tickets for this Series" parameter to the
Customer Mailing Labels and Contact Lists window.
+ Expanded Placed an order on
parameter in the Customer Mailing Labels and Contact Lists window, to include
"or before" to cover customers who haven't bought in a while.
o Changed customer 'Type' (Patron, Company, Prospect) to Category, to
avoid terminology conflict with other 'Type' field.
o Added check for valid e-mail in Customer record, and disabled the E-mail
button if it didn't exist.
o Forced 'Company' to be selected as the Type of customer, if a customer record
only has a company name and no customer name.
o Expanded the Help system's Index.
o Changed "Label Printing" menu item to "Label Printing / Contact Lists" and
renamed window "Customer Mailing Labels & Contact Lists".
o Changed appearance and, where appropriate, improved
functionality of input boxes
(small windows that open asking for a specific piece of information).
- Clicking Cancel after starting the "Add new customer" process, caused
the Next Customer and Last Customer buttons to become temporarily disabled.
- Certain buttons, such as Delete, should not have been visible when adding a
new customer.
- Fixed Subtotals and Accumulated Totals calculations in Daily Sales Breakdown
report.
- Invoice payment method was enabled on a No Info customer
after creating a No
Info order.
- Allocated payment method was enabled on General Admission events.
- Converting a Hold to a paid order, when no fees (ex, taxes) existed, would
show zero dollar amounts in totals.
= Other minor tweaks and cosmetic changes.
4.1.1028 - May 30, 2010
* This version requires that version 4.1.x already be
installed on your computer.
Note: Some of these fixes are new problems that were created by the previous
update.
- Fixed program crash when entering empty value for total
Events in Multiple Events function.
- Fixed two 'Invalid Use of Null' errors when opening order screen (new
installations only).
- Fixed issue with Hold-Order conversion process.
= Other minor tweaks.
